Visit to Frankfort!

    Add Image
This weekend we got to go to Frankfort to Nana and Papa's house!  Tommy had so much fun- He got to see Great Grandpa Pop, Great Aunt Anita, Great Uncle Skip, Second cousin Brad, and of course, Nana and Papa.  Nana and Papa got him some cool shades that he can wear when its sunny.  He wasn't quite so sure about them yet, but we're sure he'll change his mind when all that sun comes along this summer!

He also got to go to the KidsWork Children's Museum in Frankfort, where Nana sits on the board and has done a lot of work.  It was incredible!  Tommy loved looking at all the animals, especially the fish.  You can also see the outline of the backside of his body on the impression board, which was really cool to feel.

And of course he loves peek-a-boo, so the funny face board was right up his alley.  Finally, he hung out a little in the Tot Spot--in a few short months, he'll all over that place!

Spring is here!, new ride, and poll results...

Tommy is soooooo excited that it is finally spring... we can open the windows and hear those loud train horns!  (which we think is fun while we're awake, but not so fun when we're asleep).

Tommy is loving playing outside on the deck.  The sun doesn't shine on it yet, but in a few months, we'll be getting afternoon sun.  We are wondering how our elderly neighbors will feel about us putting up a big blow-up pool out there...  maybe even a swim-up bar for mom and dad!

Here you can see Tommy in his new ride--the jogging stroller.  Beth Pallisard and Kristen Zvonar gave it to us as a baby shower gift and it is AWESOME!   It has its own tire pump that stores below in case you get a flat tire, it has great shocks, and best of all, we can plug in the IPod and it plays music through a speaker on the side!  Rock on!

Poll results:   Nice job with the voting!!  The Tommy board says Jori will be most likely to be a linebacker someday (a beautiful, sweet one of course).  Poor Tommy didn't get any votes, so we'll start having him run fade routes in the living room (Thanks for the idea Fred!)

Visit to Fairbury!

Well this past weekend we went to the metropolis of Fairbury to see Uncle TJ, Aunt Stacey, Tessa Kate, Jori Jaye, and of course Grandma and Grandpa Posey (who live there).  Tommy was a bit shy at first, but finally he warmed up to his really fun cousins.  Tessa taught Tommy how to play with all of Grandma's toys (which she is a pro at by now).  And Jori liked to try to steal Tommy's binky until she found her own.. and then she gave him big hugs.

Tessa also helped Grandma and Grandpa decorate the big birthday cake, while Jori was busy trying on Aunt Kate's shoes.  She's so silly!

Tommy also got to go to the park and swing on the baby swing--how fun!  Good luck to Uncle TJ and Belleville East this week in the 4A Elite Eight!

March Madness, "24", and poll answers

Just a few pics of Tommy getting ready for March Madness in his jamies playin ball.  He is showing off his big muscles in his tight jamies! (which we think will help him crawl but so far just some scoots)
Also, we have to report that for all you Jack Bauer "24" fans, a relative of mine (not really), Mike Posey, was on the list that Dabaku had on his hidden disk.  You can see Chloe bringing it up on the screen!

Finally, wanted to let everyone know that you all did a great job with the length percentile poll---Tommy is in the 91st percentile!  However, you didn't do so well on the other poll--Tommy actually looks more like his Mommy according to an elite group of individuals (well 1 individual) who sits on the "Tommy board".   Be sure to vote in the new poll!
